After a five-year hiatus, we returned to this renowned Vietnamese restaurant to see what all the hype was about--and it did not disappoint. From the moment we stepped in, it was evident that this establishment prides itself on offering truly exceptional and unique dishes that are difficult to find elsewhere. Each dish beautifully captures the essence of Vietnamese cuisine, transporting us back to the heart of the country. The rice-noodle beef soups were a standout, bursting with flavor and authenticity. We also indulged in their popular crispy beef squares and fried rice, both of which exceeded our expectations. The staff were attentive, providing quick responses and ensuring a consistently pleasant experience for our table and others. While the food was undeniably superb, we couldn't help but envision the potential for enhancing the overall dining atmosphere. We suggest exploring a more high-end restaurant vibe by dimming the lights and introducing subtle background music, which could attract larger crowds and elevate the overall dining experience. Here's to many more years of success for this establishment, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit. See you again soon!

Finally tried Pho at Pho Mac and it was a delightful experience! Visited in the evening, greeted warmly, and served tea. My girlfriend enjoyed the Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong, praising the well-seasoned pork, though it got a bit salty towards the end. My Beef noodle soup with chicken was a hit for my first Pho encounter - hearty broth, and when I added chili and hoisin sauce it enhanced the experience. Overall, a recommendable spot for Pho newcomers!

On a cold and rainy Saturday evening, we visited Pho Mac for some warm pho. The owners are Cantonese and provided great service and tea, which is unusual for pho places but greatly appreciated. We took some time reading through the menu and they were very patient with us. They also have upstairs seating as well, which was needed as the restaurant got busier as it got later. We ordered the pho with grilled chicken, vermicelli with grilled pork and spring roll, and Vietnamese coffee. The coffee was delicious and refreshing as always and my boyfriend had a great first experience with pho. The chicken was nice and tender, but some parts of it seemed undercooked. The pork was interestingly thinly sliced but it was very flavorful and the perfect combination with the vermicelli. I liked how there wasn't an overwhelming amount of vegetables with the dish, which I find to be an issue at many other pho places. Overall, Pho Mac was a pretty good pho place and I would come back again!
